The day before Ironman the hotly contested 5km fun run is held starting from the Ironman Village and finishing in the Ironman finishers shute.
This year athletes Tarn, Tick Tock, Chrissy and KB lined up to give the 5km the hiding it deserved. They were eager to get going cheered on ably by Balance Ironman athetes.
The rain held off but conditions were overcast and steamy.

Tick Tock: a very snappy 20:48
Chrissy: a hot 25:39
KB & Tarn: a nice 36:30 (not a 35 min 5km but we will get it next year).
